I’m a one woman cake maker in Essex single handedly designing, creating, quoting and administrating the company.
In 2015 my passion for baking came out in full swing. My second daughter was born with lots of allergies and my challenges with food began. This is why I took baking to a new level so I could safely cater for her needs. As my skills and passion progressed, the Essex Cake Shop grew into the business I have created to this day.
I started out making cupcakes for fun over many years, all from learning how to make a sponge in my Nan’s kitchen as a child. My recipes have developed a lot over time but my roots are always with the way my Nan taught me all those years ago.
My love for making cupcakes and celebration cakes, has grown to a huge passion for making designs out of the box. Making illusion / realistic looking cakes are super fun. Wedding cakes are a huge honour to design and create. It is an amazing feeling to be asked to design and be part of such a special day.
